  1. Great movie. Loved the acting. Loved the location and how they portrayed the Indians. They didn’t demonize the Indians. The Apache were a fierce tribe that protected their land from the white man and other tribes at all cost. Nothing more, nothing less.

  2. son buenas las películas de werten p le agradecería que la bajen en español o latino p que todos las podemos verla x que hablan en inglés arreglé el idioma muchas gracias

  3. Thanx for loading nice western movie.Gary Cooper still my one of favorite.Vera Cruz,High Noon n this very movie are his prominent western movies.Truly speaking Richard Widmark overshadowed Gary.Compostion if great Bernard Herrmann is still look fresh n awesome.

  4. Terrific score by the always great Bernard Herrmann!

That guy was the best! (Psycho, North By Northwest, Mysterious Island, Jason And The Argonauts, Cape Fear, On Dangerous Ground, Citizen Kane, The Magnificent Ambersons and my others.)

  5. Underrated film, in my opinion it's a masterpiece, almost like an opera or a Greek tragedy. CinemaScope AND Technicolor (not De Luxe Color, like other 20th Century-Fox CinemaScope films of those early years, 1953-54).

  6. Fun movie with stunning scenery of a time and place almost forgotten. Susan Hayward was quite the stunning beauty. Richard Widmark is as entertaining as ever. Hollywood in it's heyday when America was king of the world. Now we are on a downward slide. becoming more like the third world countries in these movies. I can't even watch the new stuff. Just leftist propaganda on how to let everyone come and take everything you have! Get stuffed!

  7. I always liked this movie a lot- flawed as it is.I must say that the music was brilliant and I have watched it many times just for the scenery and cinematography alone.I liked the manner in which the Apaches were kept distant and mysteriousTherefore the film is not dated by today's standards of PC.Cooper's minimalism is appreciated but he seems a little "tuckered out".Susan, while unquestionably accomplished, seems to be somewhat" over the top" and past the point that men are going to fall all over themselves for her attention and approval.Lets face it,with a"mountain of gold" and Apaches after you there are more important things to occupy your priorities than whether or not some almost middle aged woman with a flat butt is gonna give it up.But again I really liked this movie..it's about the best the pre Leone west can offer.

  8. Knocked him on the flames 3x's. I'd cry too. Luv Widmark & Coop. I wish Haywoods part was given to Stanwick, Ava Gardner, Stanwick, Russell or Maureen O'Sullivan.
