I love Lon Chaney Jr. Thank you for posting this.
It seems that Lon Chaney Jr career was ruined by playing The Wolfman, sad.
Ms. Wilder a lovely name), I understand what you mean, I think, but the real magic of film is that each film stands alone, forever. Make one great film, and an endless number of bad films will be forgotten, while the great remains great. Cinema transcends the infantile view of "What have you done for me lately?."
Oh…I must admit that, given the time context, "The Wolfman" beats the competition, and ALL modern "zombie" or "vampire" flicks. Period. My opinion only, I fully and sadly realize.
