You’ll definitely recognize the wonderful Aline MacMahon, who was in sooo many really good late 20s and 30s films. She plays Miss Williams Also, Stuart Erwin is in this film. James Lydon and Wallace Ford play the main character as a boy, then as a man.

I'm the 90th person to give it a thumbs-up, but I also see that it's been viewed 18,683 times so evidently others have also benefitted by watching it. I had a fourth-grade teacher like the one in this movie and am so very grateful for the influence she had on my life. Count me in as a new subscriber.
