28. I love Margo as a character in this movie. She roasted everyone. It's not even Eve's evil doings that took her down. In the end she had the last laugh. A classy sip of wine and a deadly stare that simply spelled death.

29. Such superb dialogue, screenplay, acting and direction. Love how she has revolving swipes at all of them sitting on that staircase and how she pivots, turns and pauses – as Addison De Witt observes, she's "magnificent."

Ann Baxter was miscast in this role, she wasn't that good in this movie, and to make matters worse she felt she should of been nominated for a best leading oscar taking it from Bette essentially…she was in a supporting role..it was catty!! one of the biggest rip offs in Hollywood is Davis not winning the Oscar as well as for babyJane

33. Wow!! what a brilliant scene..Bette Davis was the best..she owned that role and this scene attributes her greatness…No one could have delivered those lines like that and she plays drunk superbly. One of the best scripts ever for a movie…pity people were jealous of Bette she should of won the oscar!! One of the best performances ever by an actor/actress.
