  1. "Chuck, what do we do now?" ("I am so weak and dependent on your wits, always looking up to you for answers") Urrgh, her look at him when they kissed in the coach makes me angry. There are too much movies showing this one-sided image of women.

  2. it would not be superfluous to edit the Russian subtitles, sometimes they only confuse. A person will understand better the plot as itself, what is happening and what was talking about without this "support". But anyway, thanks for opportunity.

  3. SOME GOOD LOOKING NIGHT CLUB SETS IN THE USA WORTH SEEING. THE PRINT IS EXCELLENT. THE STORY EXTREMELY CONVOLUTED AND IMPLAUSIBLE EVEN IF YOU WANT TO BELIEVE IT. STEVE COCHRAN IS EXCELLENT (THE BASTARD). A NICE TOUCH, HIS CONTROLLING OF THE CHAUFFEUR DRIVEN CAR. MICHELL MORGAN'S HAIR IS SPECTACULARLY FILMED AND LIGHTED, BUT HER CLOTHING IS NOT AT ALL BECOMING, AND MY GUESS, SHE AS A FRENCH WOMAN OF STYLE WOULD HAVE DISLIKED THEM INTENSELY. ROBERT CUMMINGS DOESN'T REALLY WORK HERE, HE IS ALWAYS EXCELLENT IN LIGHT ROMANTIC COMEDY, BUT THIS ROLE DOESN'T SUIT HIM WELL. THE ONE TO WATCH IS PETER LORRIE, WHAT A SHOW OF EMOTION HE CAN EXPRESS, THERE IS ALWAYS A BRILLIANCE, AND SOMETHING UNFORGETTABLE ABOUT HIS ACTING. THE COULD HAVE USED A GOOD EDITOR. I FORCED MYSELF TO WATCH IT BECAUSE I WAS INTRIGUED TO SEE HOW I MIGHT IMPROVE IT GIVEN THE CHANCE. NOT A VERY GOOD REASON FOR WATCHING A FILM. STILL I WATCHED IT THROUGH TO ITS SURPRISING END. BEST PART OF THE FILM……THE ADMIRABLE SETS, COCHRAN AND LAURRE.

  4. LOVE Steve Cochran (Georgeous) in these old movies (Robert Cummings not so much; he looks like his hands sweat and he just tasted something icky).
Wish I could get them on the home big screen. I find I prefer these old movies more than most movies today.

  5. I recently saw this movie. I quite liked it. It’s also visually great to look at, since the sets and costumes are great
