Captain Scarface 1953 Full movie. 1950’s spy thriller an interesting relic of the cold war era with aspects of the film noir genre. The story deals with a fake merchant ship that replaced the real one that had been sunk by an enemy submarine. The plan is to sail this ship up the Panama canal and activate the atomic bomb they have hidden on board. The bad guys are Russian (of course) what the commies don’t know is that an American (Leif Erickson) has replaced a Russian collaborator, as he is sure something is amiss with this strange boat. With Erickson’s help, the few passengers aboard the ship learn what awaits them and so they work together (mostly) to stop the attack.
