  1. terrific movie. loved it. Nowadays thrillers are too long and very slow pace, this one had plenty of action na murders, great charathers and was very exciting to watch. I wish television morder mysteries were this fun to watch.

  2. Fantastic classic. I like the way pictures of actors/characters are shown in the beginning. This flick is sooo good that it would work as a 2018 reproduction with very few tweaking of details. Slick one-liners. Perfectly-groomed/costumed men and women. Major actors. Alluring sets with models (which are demonstrated in the movie); views of period telegram processes, telephone switchboards; a behemoth steam locomotive at full speed; a dockside luxury liner with coal exhaust issuing upward from her three hugh stacks. Mary Astor in a role unique to Mary Astor. And for us animal lovers, a cute Scottie dog and wonderfully-trained doberman pincer … who plays "seriously-injured" but really gets after it in his pulling double-duty as a "bloodhound.". Thank you sallis65.
