Very well done. Characters, pace, and plot. And what an ending! Karma's a real bi#ch!๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฟ for this one.
Jose can you see….gotcha !
Pencil thin moustach = always trouble.
Good move. Thank you !
Back when a man couldnโt talk to a woman without grabbing her by both shoulders!
what a brilliant ending
Follow that car.
Nice twist at the end! The Classics have the best stories.
sweet cars
exercise is the best thing for her. not bed rest. i know i have the same thing. i had 2 weeks to live 7 years ago.
Simply fabulous!
Hokey plot: too much initial exposition and lurching direction. I kept waiting for Crow and Servo to make snarky comments.
Ya' gotta love those hairdo's and the Eisenhower hats.
What a low life, well as they say, money is the root of all evil.
64 years ago this movie was made. Itโs amazing to think that all of these young good looking actors are all gone now. This film noir classic is a little time capsule.
Great movie.
Great movie and ending.
Ha…great!!
creative ending. she never "loved" him she only llusted over him
Good movie.
love these old b&w films thanks
Great ending. Justice!
A great film. Excellent script. I actually kept watching until the end.
Great! Watch it if you like film nor. Has a happy (but bitter- sweet) ending for two of the characters.
Pre internet dating scam with a twist. ๐๐๐
I love this little thing. Seen it three times. Tiny budget, but decent noir. John Bromfield is so damn striking and good too. Most guys sucked in their doughy stomachs in their swimming pool shots back then; Bromfield looks amazingly slim and trim for a male lead of that time.
Great ending๐
Poor John Bromfield. Forever mocked by MST3k's "I'm handsome" in their Revenge of the Creature spoof.
This might be a Film Noir, but it isn't a Classic Film Noir. I've seen about 200 Film Noirs that were better.

Great story. Well acted. Classic! Thanks for the post.
Thank you so much for sharing this movie! Great twist!
Heart disease!? with all that cigarette smoking? "Why Doctor it doesn't make sense."
Great classic
that ending was bittersweet
Love the ending.
Crazy people are always unfaithful. The love of money is the root of evil, and the spirit murder always follow them that cheat.
Re. the Rick De Vere character – surely the ultimate lounge lizard! An enjoyable movie with well- cast actors.
Yes! Sweeeet resolution!
