Outlaw Pearl. She loved two very different men freely yet practically died of guilt for her strong sexuality. The leading men in this movie are so two faced. One is racist the other is sexist. And both men are neither pure nor perfect. Sam was the match for her, and even that ruined by jealousy.
Not used to seeing Peck as a complete A-hole. In fact, I can't think of one…well I guess Boys from Brazil…but what else?

I'm 46 so grew up from a baby watching these with my grandmother and aunt and some beautiful memories with her because of these wonderful movies I'll never stop watching them and Gregory peck what a handsome man God bless him ❤️
A beautiful movie and Gregory Peck was sexy. A very good looking man even when he got older. Jennifer Jones is so pretty.
