  1. Like the moment when he tried to sleep in the chair, and in the bathtub, and don't know what to do with his hands! Remind you something?

  2. Mae West was the one who "Discovered" Cary Grant ,She was getting into her car in the film lot, noticed him, asked who he was and was told he was a bit actor ,then proceeded to demand he was her co star in her next film .

  3. The first film scenes during the type titles were shot in Frankfurt am Main. At the "Eisernen Steg", the "Frankfurter Römer", the "Hauptbahnhof" and in the city center. Even today, "20th-Century-Fox" is located in the "Darmstädter Landstraße" and has its film distribution there. A blessing that Americans were stationed in Frankfurt after the war. I miss them.

  4. 1:24:50 The boarding issue occurred here when the Front Desk told he couldn't stay there because they didn't reserve a spot for him to at least sleep there and go wash up at an officer's building. They didn't look at the roster and make room for him, but they made room for the pets. Not against pets, but they just didn't check their roster several times over as it was updated or think that a Dependent would ever be a husband/ or an adult male.

  5. Of course wonderful performances; but terrific comedic writing and direction by the great Howard Hawks. Film works so well you don't even think about the writing and direction but they made it easy for the actors.
