I love Telly but this was a BAD remake. He was also old-looking and fat. Not his best. Love the original though with Lee Marvin as lead.
What a piece of crap. Telly wearing a helmet liner, Borgnine uniform incorrect. All Germans are SS. All Germans killed in final battle while American sit around making reunion plans. Germans just sit in train after Americans leave.

Hello. Myself Abhishek moitra. Totally excellent and wonderfull movie. All the star cast absolutely and gracefull performance. I have salute writter, producer, director and all the starcast in this movie.
The good bits,telly savallas,Ernie Borgnine,HEATHER,and lots of good names in the cast,The bad bits,sadly,pretty much everything else.
This sequel oss dreadful and whoever thought it a good idea to cast "maggot" as the senior officer in it must have been on drugs

Wonder why Telly Savalas didn't wear a full helmet? He just wears the fibre helmet liner all the way through while the others wore inner and outer helmets???

Actually, Hollywood should have offered Telly Savalas an Oscar for this role! Major Wright he played very believable! In my opinion a very cool war movie!
