  1. Huge classic black and white movie fan…. I can binge All day and Not watch Anything else 🙂 . This is one of my Favorite movies but the title is wrong! Or I simply knew it as another name for several decades!

  2. The Director, John Moxley, would go on to direct the American made for TV Movie "The Night Stalker" starring Darren McGavin as the intrepid newspaper reporter Carl Kolchak.

  3. Thank you so much for such a good print of one of the absolute classic atmospheric best. This film, Burn Witch Burn (Night of the Eagle)(1962 Peter Wyngarde), and Night of the Demon (1957 Dana Andrews) never get old.

  4. who were the people who stopped to stare ,i know not the witches.and why did they mention abigail adams in the beginning ,the presidents wife and why was professor barlow shocked at professor driscolls notepaper

  5. Great movie and acting , by the way for a person who's not English native speaker Is a very good way to listen very good spoken and educated language, It's a real English lesson , thanks for uploading this movie

  6. Retreated to here from a modern horror Hanzel And Gretel updated complete with melodramatic screaming with profuse swear words–could only stand two minutes. This is classic Christopher Lee, when films had some class.

  7. The killing of the lead character early in the film; had inspired an English director named Alfred Hitchcock in the production of his film: Psycho….

  8. Spooky and chilling, this is horror at its best. The performances are excellent, and the atmosphere is tangibly cold and oppressive. More movies like this please Flick Vault, and many thanks for uploading it, and in such a fine print too.

  9. Patricia Jessel, who was the witch Elizabeth Selwin, appeared in The Prisoner, in the episode "Checkmate". Valentine Dyall is most remembered as the Black Guardian from Doctor Who and the computer Deep Thought in The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.
