1942 Comedy Mystery A Night To Remember stars Loretta Young Brian Aherne

Hello! Here’s a FUN Comedy-Mystery with Loretta Young & Brian Aherne set in Greenwich Village~A Night To Remember. I LOVE this movie because of it’s many laugh-inducing moments…and…I LOVE Brian Aherne! (Loretta Young’s great in this movie, too!)
I think Brian Aherne was a wonderful actor and seemed under-valued. I wish there were more movies out there to watch with him in starring roles. I know of a few, and will be uploading them for you–you’ll really get to like his breezy ways, his Scottish accent, and all around good-guy charm!
Try this funny movie out for size–it’s a great escape! Let me know what you think, ok? And please don’t forget to Subscribe, Share and Support my Channel! Give it a Thumbs Up so I know you enjoy this type of Classic Movie~Thank you kindly!

  2. one4allfour1,I wanted to" correct" my salutation to you! I really did enjoy this movie, and agree with someone else's statement regarding Mr.Ahern,I also, think he was underestimated and underused as a leading actor. He reminds me of George Brent, another actor I thought was so very good and handsome.I,particularly like that Ms.Young's name in the movie, was Nancy, the same as mine.Warner Oland was also very good in his role as the chief inspector, very comical, and a real joy to listen to,in this film! Thank you, once again, for showing this movie!! MERRY CHRISTMAS?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  4. One of my favorite movie with nice blend of humor with mystery. Brian Aherne was as always very good at comedy. Loretta Young very beautiful. Their chemistry was superb. Other characters also made the story supremely entertaining. But I love Brian here like his other movies.

  5. A good balance of humour and mystery, nothing over the top. A great film with the wonderful Loretta young and witty Brian Aherne. Fab old film, thank you for sharing, from a old film fan.

  6. Okay first off this is a great movie such fun,but Hey commentors go easy on todays pics! At least todays pics have sumthing very everyone! Unlike yesteryear where they were just going after a specific audience, I do respect your opinions on the difference between super wholesome old flics and oft profanity laced new pics. But u know what they say THESE TIMES R A CHANGING.Anyways I give this old no cussing movie 5 STARS★★★★★♡

  7. What can I say…just alot of fun? From Aherne to Young. From the housekeeper to the police lieutenant – even the background music when he's having trouble with the door – you find yourself smiling throughout the movie. After a crazy day of news, nice movie right before falling asleep

  8. Not one curse word, nothing provocative. Made me laugh out loud; literally!! This is why I only watch classics from this era. Sheer class; this is what it's all about. So glad I found you. Many thanks for this movie!

  9. I LOVE this movie, and I love all things Loretta (or "Gretch")! Some 7 years ago, one of the movie networks, the THIS Channel I think, used to play this often on Sundays. It's where I first saw this. So glad to find it again! Great cast!!! Donald McBride, Sidney Toler …Gale Sondergaard always played such a good villainess! Especially in "Anthony Adverse"! THANK YOU for uploadjng this!!! RIP, Gretchen Michaela!!

  10. Agreed. Brian Aherne is so uniquely charming, and very talented. He has a sophisticated light touch in comedies, but is excellent in thrillers and dramas as well. Pleased to know that others continue to a appreciate him. And yes, Loretta Young is lovely — as always! Thanks for taking the time to post this.

  11. Wow, to let the couple know their furniture would be late 2 hours, they sent telegram. Dio much to think about in that small gesture reflecting on how our lives are different. Things that makes you go hmm.?
