Scenes from the 1941 movie….TALL DARK AND HANDSOME…….Appropriately named for Cesar Romero, who starred as the leading character, Shep Morrison, a soft-hearted gangster, who hides rival gangsters in his basement rather than killing them……..Milton Berle plays his wisecracking sidekick……….A very entertaining movie………one of my favorite early Cesar Romero movies….

My gosh! This pre-dates "Love That Brute" by 9 years and has the same story concept–but here Mr. Romero gets to be the charmer, not the heavy. Later he's the bad guy to Paul Douglas's sweety-pie gangster. I'd love to see this full movie.
You are correct…..that is Milton Berle long before he became famous….I love the character he plays in this movie…..he was also in another movie with Cesar Romero called "A Gentleman at Heart"…..thanks for watching & commenting!
@anderson7293 I definitely want it…….where did you get your copy? It's funny…it was made in 1941 and TAA was made in 42….our fellas did our favs back to back…….so thoughtful of them…..lolol
@tickledpink2U ….I just ADORE this movie and Cheryl, I know you would love it too…….This movie to me, is like "This Above All" is to you……..Cesar definitely lives up to it's title…….he is a combination of tough, romantic and funny playing this character……..he is the star in this one,…the guy who gets the girl instead of the one who loses the beautiful girl to the leading man……….YEAH……
Wow…that's a sexy look he gives when he turns around at 3:46,,,,and that is a well dressed man at 6:53….listen up Brad and George, this is how it's done!! And check him out in those sunglasses!!! I love this……I want the whole movie.
