  1. I thought you might like this if you hadn't already seen it. It's Martin Scorsese talking about the restoration of One Eyed Jacks at the New York Film Festival. Its really interesting about some of the technical details of the film. "Martin Scorsese on 'One Eyed Jacks' | NYFF 54" Film at Lincoln Center

  2. Somehow he filled the screen, one off, there will never be another Brando, best acting was in Burn, On The Waterfront, The Godfather, A Streetcar Named Desire.

  3. Even thou western movies are American western but American producers have no idea how to make western they always shows people shooting at each other but nothing happened just a hail of bullets on each other lf you want to watch real western then you should watch spaghetti western

  4. I love this movie so much. I watched it on whim a year or so ago when I was bored not really expecting to get much out of it. However, I think about it all the time so I've come back for more. Brando could have been a wonderful director in the future after this movie if they had have shown more faith.

  5. Love that Brando used Latino's in the film and his real friend was Latino. Great Cast. Pickens, Johnson, Jurado, and Malden. All but Johnson would be in Pat Garret and Billy the Kid by Peckinpah. All of them were awesome. Jurado in High Noon. Pickens incredible career-Dr. Strangelove et al. Malden in Street Car with Brando, great actors from the Golden days. Brando's cut of this film was over four hours, a whole sequence that took place in China Town in San Francisco was shot and sadly the edited footage was destroyed. I'd love to see his cut of this.

  6. Is this movie based on a book, The Authentic Life of ….?? And the beach is in Big Sur. Used to camp there after going to Esalon hot springs around midnight.

  7. Is this movie as good as I think it is? Great story, great photography, great actors and actresses in their prime doing their best work. The word classic is bandied about quite a bit, but One Eyed Jacks is the real deal.

  8. Fun fact: this was Brando's favorite film, of all he did. I was told this by his phone tech at the time, a childhood friend of mine. He spent hours in Brando's home, speaking to the man, like a friend. Brando told him all his other work could burn, and he wouldn't care. "One Eyed Jack's" was His best work, by his own word.

  9. Classic films are a treat as a feast anytime of the year to watch especially westerns of old classic Hollywood beauty to watch it anytime countryside westerns dramas plots actions stills contents and humour and style with mumbo jumbo

  10. If you start the movie over again and move the progression down about three quqrters through, you may catch the end of the movie. It worked for me.
