  1. The motel set is the Bates Motel from Psycho. Great film though if a bit stylised to the way they would film it today. Reagan was not a good actor, he lets it down. His last film role before moving into politics.

  2. This was originally meant for tv – but the director, Donald Siegel, was so accurate in portrayal aspects in his films – it was far too accurate back then for tv audiences – it would have freaked them out – so it had an 'x' certificate.

  3. When Lee Marvin as the well-paid hired assassin has the best morals of the bunch, you know the rest of the characteurs are rattlesnakes 🙂 .

  5. movies from 1964 r not classic….i hate them…the manner of dress is so ugly..those hats.sunglasses on the guys r just a turn off..i like the 46 version when they knew how to dress…skinny ties on the guys..uck…and i am a product of the 60's…don't like it
