  1. Michio Ito's choreography was the best thing about this film!! Sally Rand, dancer par excellence, of course. Henry King & Orchestra, tops. Mr Reed Hadley in tow too lol. The stage costumes for the dances were spectacular. But after a while I just couldn't watch anymore……..

  2. it got past the censors because in 1938 there were no censors. only later when the America got tight assed did we have them. England never was as tight assed as Americans

  3. Note that the dance sequence begins at 20:39, with a parade of tableaux vivant damselles.  Sally, screened by her feathers and  ferns, enters at 22.31.  Sally was famous for the remark:  "I haven't been out of work since I took off my pants…"

  4. Thanks for uploading this, movie. I did enjoy it, but could you,
( But. In. The Future )
    Could You Please
    Raise The Volume of certain
    movies that are to low,
to hear. Now I know when this,
movie was made it was in,
    (. MONO. NOT. STEREO. )
which makes it much more harder to hear so if you can do it in the future that would be great thanks again
