  1. neat movie Most of the track where scenes were filmed is abandoned now
    Milwaukee went bankrupt in 1980
Only lines that exist are in Minnesota & run by SOO now Canadian Pacific

  2. Interesting how the world has changed. There are scenes of assault, forced labor and management abuse (even kidnapping) which are simply shrugged off as normal behavior.

  3. This is the full film. The Video Cellar restored about 50 minutes. I don't know why but when a film is 74 minutes 24 missing minutes is kinda strange. They do great work!

  4. I own the movie but still love this being shared. MILW ran just 2 miles from me. How did we loose this 130 old railroad? Oh yeh… Destroy business and the rail lines.

  5. FYI, Robert Armstrong was in "King Kong" ( the original ) Louis Wolheim was in "All quiet on the Western Front" and Jean Arthur was in many films. All 3 were big stars in the day.
