  1. Obviously Old Dick relieys on his good looks instead of a gun to get out of a jamb.Judging by the way it worked,he loves to get punched in the mouth. To his credit he heals so quickly that even after 5 guys beat the shit out of him,he never shows a bruise. What a sap.

  2. It just doesn't make sense…  A Special Agent is assigned to investigate some Secret Warfare weaponry, and instead of questioning witnesses, doctors, police officers, or even his Own scientific team at the Home Office – he's dressed in a Dinner Jacket and Bow Tie.  He's invited to this house where he's with 5 other people and he's able to happen upon a theory based upon circumstances.  So far this Special Agent just knows a bunch of people are dead… Period.  Amazingly weird for a movie from 1948-49 with such silly scenario.

  3. A much better storyline than that awful Barton special agent rubbish this was improved by getting rid of those two goons snowy and jock that were in the previous films they bore no resemblance to the radio characters , also the acting has improved snowy was just as I imagined him all those years ago.

  4. Love these British B&W Noir features – all very jolly, showing the Bounders what for and home in time for Pimm's & cucumber sandwiches, what?
