  1. Can't believe Jane Asher and Jeremy Brett. Ronald Fraser was excellent in the original Flight of the Phoenix, and superb in The Wild Geese.

    Excellent film.

  2. Yessiree bob! In the past week/10 days I seen a bunch of modern and early American flicks, and not one can compare with this single Noir period, English pic. Everything about it, especially its mild-mannered undertones is actually what kept me on the edge of my seat. You know, all the "shoot 'em ups", Tai Kwan Do finale foot races and obligatory car chases, I think the most irritating facet of the American flicks is every interior setting is so sterilized, spic-n-span, not a single thing out-of-place beautiful with the. Seal of Good Housekeeping. Where every girl is under 25 y.o. with perfect Colgate smiles and drop dead gorgeous body's.

  3. Lumme! Theyre cast as a pair of cops in this one. Obviously their 'bad boy' talents were yet to be realised..
Shut that dog up someone! 😉

  4. Mmmm, I'm slavering at the bit for this one, two iconic villains of the 50's/60's Brit Film era.. Ian Hendry and Ronald Fraser, together with a fledgling performance from a young Jane Asher no less.
Last but certainly not least the icing on the cake is Jeremy Brett, my fave Holmes of all time, who's name I immediately clocked on the opening credits.. Magnifico!
