I love these two actresses!
I don’t understand why the entire episode is not shown. What good is it to see just part of the show?
Thelma Ritter is very similar to Ellen Corby !
I wish these videos had the AH intros. I always feel like I’ve missed the beginning of the episode!
I usually like this show but this episode was horrible
THAT MR. DEMARIO LOOKS LIKE GENE SIMMONS!!!! FROM KISS !! AND HIS VOICE TOO!!! MAYBE THATS HIS FATHER, HE NEVER MENTIONS HIS FATHER JUST HIS MOTHER WHO HE LOVES VERY MUCH
Michael Ansara ! Barbara Eden's first husband
So Nash and De Marco were both in on it?
The dark hair women didnt she play the witch on the wizard of oz?
Never heard of her now im gonna be looking up her movies
Besides Mary Wickes and Thelma Ritter there's Michael Ansara another character actor from the golden age of black and white TV. He was Barbara Eden's husband and you saw him play a few characters on the show.
Why aren't you showing the Full episodes?? Shame on You!
these particles SUCK
michael ansario–wow
Thelma Ritter! Loved her so! Best role was in “Rear Window” with Jimmy Stewart. Flawless performance.
Who played that beautiful daughter?
She was going to blackmail him into dating her. Lol
Don't know y I found ending hilarious. Lol
OMG, Mary Wickes’ portrayed a nurse twice in 1942 and both movies starred Bette Davis! “The Man Who Came To Dinner” as Nurse Preen then Nurse Dora Pickford in “Now, Voyager”. My personal favorite was in 1956 Abbott & Costello last film, “Dance With Me Henry”. A career that spanned over six decades. An extremely intelligent woman who never married or bore any children.
Thelma Ritter was nominated for six Oscars, unfortunately she never won. Not only was she a terrific comedian but playing Elizabeth McCartney Stroud in the “Birdman of Alcatraz” 1962 she was just phenomenal! (Of course Burt Lancaster played her son Robert Stroud.) Ritter was also nominated for several Golden Globes and Emmys. She won a Tony award for best actress in a musical, “New Girl in Town” 1957 and she had to share that because it was a tie with her costar Gwen Verdon.
The one thing I am very shocked about was Thelma Ritter was 54 and Mary Wickes was 46 when this was filmed… I am 59 years old and l look my age but these women looked older than I do. Which is very surprising because they ate healthier foods I’m assuming. 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway I’m seriously enjoying all of these Alfred Hitchcock Presents so Thank You from the bottom of my heart! ♥️
Lately they’ve been playing the same movies over and over again on TCM 📺 I am a huge old movie buff and TV shows from the 1950s and 60s.
WHY no full episode???
That quote she made when trying on the coats.. they said that blond Beaver it does something for a woman even one like me very suggestive
That love letter also can pass as a blackmail letter. Of course , Mr. Nash has murder in his heart already.
"Oh Eunice, Thelma Ritter was born talented!"
That old lady plays the ugly maid on stanford and son in
Alfred hitchcock was the best of mystery tv very good show better then the stuff on tv now 2019 2020 now its all garbage tv period boring stale stuff yuck !!!!!!!!
Dinner will keep me quiet- and answering the door.
"That blond beaver does something for a women, even me."
Thelma was in “The Misfits”. she was perfect. a role made for her
Thelma Ritter reminds me of my grandmother…she made many movies…great actress!!! I love her..
what a cast!!
love both these actresses! Just saw Thelma Ritter in "All About Eve", the other actress I just saw in "White Christmas"… I can't remember her name…?
