  12. I loved and watched this Movie since I was 11 Years old, I am now 60. I usually watch it alone because members of my FAMILY don't believe that the Blessed Mother Of God should be exalted HIGH in the Church like her Son, Jesus is. But no one EVER said that Mary was!

  14. This movie was also one of my favorite movies of all time, and I felt so much compassion towards the Blessed Mother. Bernadette was born January 7th and I was born January 10th, and I had always gone to church a lot, but after watching this movie I began to go to church every single day to the point where it scared my parents. I loved being in the church and hearing about all things concerning God, even wanting to be a nun. One day I went into the store of our church and they were selling rosaries, but I could not afford one. As I came out of church I decided to visit my cousin. As I completed my visit with her and went out into the hallway of the first floor there on the ground to my surprise was a beautiful red glass rosary. I picked it up and loved it so much. I wore it and began reciting the rosary. I later found another one on the ground as if the Blessed mother were throwing them at me. I had always said as a child I love God. I want to be in heaven. I continued to pray the rosary then one day I lost it. I was so sad I asked Jesus and the Blessed mother to forgive me and to please give me another one. Once again the Blessed mother showed me one on the ground and I picked it up. I was constantly surrounded by rosaries. As I moved around I became a cashier in Virginia. A very old lady came into the store and she saw I was wearing a rosary and she was so happy that she gave me her original rosary made in Medjugorje. She said to take care of it because it was an original, and the next time she saw me she gave me another one in clear glass. But I have always felt blessed. There were other times though when I felt the anger of men. I believe it was a spirit who recognized the Blessed Virgin and they couldn't stand it and would give me evil looks. One day I also encountered a man who looked exactly like an ogre. He stood outside our building as my husband brought me home from work. I said "did you see that, did you see that thing???" He said "I didn't see anything." I was like wow. But I'm here now on this youtube channel watching this movie for my tenth time or so. I love it. Anyway…Stay faithful and true to God. Announce the Immanuel as the Blessed mother says. Announce him to all and may God Bless you all.

  20. What an amazing movie! Imagine the amazing movies that could be made today with all our resources, yet we choose to make junk. The last great movie I've seen was the Passions Of the Christ and Hollywood shun it.

  21. One of the best religious movie ever produced, it's up there there with the best of them… The Bible, The Ten Commandments, The Robe, Jesus of Nazareth, King of Kings. Thanks for sharing it.

  31. I haven't seen this movie for decades, didn't remember it until I saw it again today and loved it.
    But what's with all those commercials in the middle of the movie every 5 minutes it seems something pops up even to the very end two pop up … ever so aggravating to intrude on such a good movie.

  34. A simple girl with amazing power of perseverance and faith. Humility defeats knowledge, power, and talent. Suffering purifieth the soul. Oh! St. Bernard, Pray for us.

  36. During screen tests and tryouts, the director said that many actresses "looked a vision". But Jennifer looked "like she saw a vision". This movie is available on DVD on any Catholic book site.

  41. This is a great example how the Catholic Church investigates many years IF a Miracle takes place. Also to be declared a Saint, Three miracles has to be proven. God Bless our CATHOLIC FAITH???.

  44. Such a miraculous story that changed history. Such gentle simplicity. One of my favorite B&W films. Every Christmas it would play on tv just before going to midnight mass. Being the oldest I didn't have to go to bed like all my other brothers and sister, so I got to stay up and watch it with my mother. My grandmother was named after St. Bernadette. She had passed away just 4 months, the last time I watched this as a young person. It made such an impression on me. I always wanted to serve God, yet the church did not accept women. I did find a way, outside of that faith. I have served God, and I will never forget the reverence of this film that led me there.
