What a great take on Jeckle and Hyde.. I like he wasn’t distorted physically but…emotionally pure Evil…Fine performances…🔥👍
Very good copy of the film with vibrant colors. Thank you.
Interesting to see Christopher Lee playing very much against type as a weak, amoral cad and wastrel in this picture. Even more rare that he is the victim.
I won't tell the ending, but I noticed that it doesn't end like the others versions of this film. 🎥
Dis movie gets the Popcorn 🍿🍿🍿 Award it brings a different twist to original Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde this one was more suave more sexual I got a chance to see what strippers would like back then both men were very suave and handsome plus I've never seen it before which makes it even better 👏👏🏻👏🏼👏🏿👏🏾Here in 2025
I live Hammer horror movies peter Cushing n Christopher Lee rule
Ahhh old school actors are ridiculously gorgeous! Natural elegance is so refreshing, unlike today's celebs who rely on heavy cosmetics and surgeries 😂.
The Little Deaf And Dumb Girl Looked So Much Like My Younger Sister Lorraine When She Was A Child
No sound.
It's like a reverse Cinderella. He transformed and went to the party to beat some a$$, hehe.
I love the whole Hammer family, Terrance Fisher, Freddie Francis Directing, Rosenberg, Sybotsky ( sorry, spelling wrong ), even Freddie's brother Kevin Francis producing, my favorite Roy Ashton on Makeup and Jill Carpenter Hairdresser and let's not forget Philip Martell as Music Director. Of course there's so many more,
You've got Barbara Steel, Barbara Shelley,
Ingrid Pitt, Dawn Adam's, just to name a few of the women. Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Oliver Reed, Donald Pleasence again spelling wrong, anyways Thank you for posting this beauty, I shall Enjoy. Big Love and Respect from a friend in Maui 🌎☮️🌎
Excellent movie!
1:14:51 it takes at least 3 minutes to strangle someone to death
1:07:12 It’s only a python (Royal Python I believe) in with him and it’s nothing to worry about as it’s not venomous or big enough to hurt him. Now if it was a Burmese or Reticulated Python 20/20+ and hungry I’d be worried as they’re big enough to eat you. Or if I was in there with a venomous snake I’d be worried, the Inland Taipan may have the smallest fangs of any venomous snake and not killed anyone (on record) because they’re extremely shy and live so far away from where anyone lives in Australia (thank god) but they’re the most venomous snake in the world. Now if it was an Eastern Brown Snake or worse a Black Mamba, while the Eastern Brown Snake has a more potent venom than the Black Mamba’s the Black Mamba’s venom is the fastest acting venom due to how much venom it injects when biting with it’s aggressive multiple bites
20:23 Oliver Reed there
This is a more obscure "Hammer" film but worth seeing!
Nothing not nothing beats the classic of horror of the hammer production company wow😮❤🎉😮❤
Why is that that the polite Villans or antagonist (that aren't literal monsters like vampires, wear wolfs, ect) are the most entertaining
..please give me a recipe for this opium Den!…
Oh, that "Hyde smile!!"
This i have not seen before, awesome.
Great film. I met Janina Faye twice over the weekend at a charity event held by Caroline Munro. She is the little girl near the beginning of the film with and presenting the rose.
Un film Hammer servi par de grands acteurs Christopher Lee entre autre et puis réalisé par le grand Terence Ficher en espérant que ce film que je possède dans ma dvdtheque ne soit pas coupé par des publicités a la cons sur youtube.
Cannot beat these classic movies
Bullshit balderdash and cobblers . Typical Hammer infantile fairy tale
What a Fantastic movie 🎥
For Emma Watson
Bordering hunger games creepy.
I always liked the Hammer Studios film adaptations of Horror stories
Never saw this classic before. Love the good old hammer productions. Thanks for sharing, take care and god bless my horror friends.
they are the same man EH
Oliver Reed 🥃 🇬🇧
I love theses old horror movies
Great Movie. Unfortunately there are constant ads. Greedy Google.
Woman dancer with the snake! " I don't like men beg / buy" arrogant but then she was the one to beg pfff
What a good movie! Thanks.
I wish I could’ve given you two thumbs 👍🏾 👍🏾 up for this one.
Just subscribed, what’s not to like great hammer horror films and quality releases to enjoy on these cold winter nights, we never get their like on tv at all now, all the best to you from Scotland 🏴
This is like opera. Well done !
When films were made to perfection, perfectly acted and without awful cgi makng them terribly unbelievable. Was almost like a theatre play. Simply wonderful.
A good movie
Such a treat. For years we have watched these wonderful Hammer Horror movies during the dark winter evenings, such cosy films to curl up with a glass of wine or hot chocolate. We never tire of them. Thank you Hammer House of Horror ❤
Paul Massie sounds like Brad Pitt. Or, rather, it's probably the other way around! I always love Christopher Lee, too. 😄
This is certainly a 'beaut' of a movie. I love the theme of 'Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde': First there was the very awe inspiring 1940's version with Spencer Tracy, Ingrid Bergman and Lana Turner. I do recall seeing a film with Julia Roberts, sometime in the 80's that had a similar theme; maybe it was Mary Reilly. This one too is very delicious, the suspense quotient is high and one dies to know what is going to come next. Our hero, Christopher Lee is a shameless playboy in this film, and he plays the part to the hilt. Dawn Adams was once a true beauty of the British screen and, here, she gets a nice juicy part to sink her teeth into. Due to paucity of time, I could not see the complete film, but will do so this evening. Thanks YouTube for a great find!!!
Oliver Reed got a few smacks on the back of his head
