  1. Never seen a bad episode bonanza I was born in 82 and love these shows great shows with values lessons ups and downs inspiring tv what it should be . my momma watched these shows, and loved hoss, lil Joe was the ladies man but momma had her eyes on hoss lol .. and bubba from in the heat of the night lol

  2. Andrew Duggan and Patricia Neal starred together in the Christmas movie the Homecoming. This was the prequel to the Waltons TV show. In this He was the husband and she was the wife.

  3. I wish I could've told the judge according to Gods scriptures every human on the face of the earth is a sinner. That includes you as well judge. So stop judging others. But great episode.

  4. I liked how Adam and Joe worked together to help the red haired lady. The judge however was a disappointment to me how he judged and criticized the woman even treating her like dirt before he really got to know her. Yet he became even more sickening as he suddenly not only took more to her ignoring his wonderful wife. First he judges hence quoting even scriptures yet becoming more and more into the saloon girl and actually desiring the saloon girl even moreso than his own wife.

  5. Sorry little Joe, our favorites growing up with everyone I knew were Adam, Hoss, then let’s face it, Lorne Greene was absolutely magnificent and then Landon.

  6. This is so shameful, she didn't do anything to that man, he was a drunkard who fell down the stairs and broke his neck. She is an innocent woman and the judge is trying his might to make her guilty. She was coerce into making a false confession.

  7. Another great episode from Bonaza where Little Joe & Adam Cartwright have to protect a innocent Saloon lady. This episode will show how 2 of the 2 Female Bellydancing 👑 Queens of The Pondersa Ranch will show how to be compassion. ( Alia Mohammed & Sadie Marquardt.).

  8. There are so many angles to this story. The Deputy brothers have a point. The Cartwrights have a point. The judge has a point and Lila has a point. They are all in conflict and yet they are all equally valid. Its a well written episode.

  9. Hoss Cartwright middle brother home
    Ben Cartwright father another city
Adam Cartwright old brother I little joe
Joseph Joe Cartwright young brother girl wheel words brother adam

  10. Spoiler alert. I rewrote the ending. When the judge, David, goes back to his wife & asks her to help him, she says "I forgive you, & we can talk a little after our divorce." She goes to Adam & Little Joe & tells them she'll need them to testify on her behalf about the fact her husband abandoned their marriage to run off w/ a saloon worker. She asks to ride the rest of the wagon-train journey w/ Adam & he agrees. She & Adam start getting to know each other better. She also shows true kindness to the saloon worker, Lila. She lets her know there are true followers of Jesus (Yeshua) & asks her to not judge Jesus by imperfect people. She tells her that some people in life will disappoint us but Jesus Himself is trustworthy. She lets her know that Jesus loves us so much that, even though He was without any sin, He willingly died for us, that on the cross or torture stake He willingly took upon Himself the penalty or consequences for our sins so that, after he conquered death & rose from the grave 3 days later, He could offer us forgiveness & eternal life in heaven if we sincerely repent of our sins & turn away from sin, accept Him as our Lord (to obey), & do the will of God, including doing our best to learn Jesus's teachings & live them, even though we will never be perfect. She says that if we invite Jesus into our heart & our life to be our Lord, he becomes our Savior.

At one point while riding on the wagon train together, Adam asks the soon-to-be-ex-wife-of-the-judge "What about what it says in the Bible against divorce?" She had been happily discovering that it was important to Adam to follow Jesus but that, unlike her soon-to-be-ex-spouse, even though the difference between right & wrong was very important to Adam & he had opinions, Adam wasn't judgmental towards others &, instead of religiosity, he had a real relationship w/ Jesus through daily prayer. He didn't have the sin of pride & the legalism that her soon-to-be-ex-spouse had, & his heart for Jesus & for others was real. She replied to Adam's question about divorce. She said "1 Corinthians 7:15 says that if a non-believer leaves a believing spouse, then the believer is not bound (in other words, the believer is free). Obviously, David showed himself to not be a true believer or follower of Jesus, & he left our marriage when he rode off with another woman, so I'm free to move on with my life. God knows a person's true heart, mind, spirit, & soul, & God knows I hate the idea of a divorce & that I didn't want this. He knows I'll pray a prayer for the soul of my soon-to-be-ex, & that, as I move on w/ my life, I won't let hate or unforgiveness into my heart." Adam's face shows the quiet thoughtfulness characteristic of him for a moment or two, while, not looking at her, he considers what she said. Then he looks at her & she at him, and he smiles a little. They both look ahead as the wagon train rolls on.

  11. Need more story linee nowaday to give p e ople morals and a correct way of life . 50 years ago tv. Taught people to be respectable but now its just about money. No more morals just bullshit money schemes. Sad world weve become.

  12. I used to sit on my WWII Vet father's lap and watch this when I was a kid, we had the best shows in the 1960s! RIP, Pop. The beautiful Patricia Blair co-stars in this episode! I remember her as Rebecca Boone in all six seasons of NBC's Daniel Boone, with co-stars Fess Parker, Darby Hinton, Veronica Cartwright, and Ed Ames. See, I told you we had the best shows!

  13. I really enjoyed Patricia Blair in the final season of "The Rifleman". I read that if the show had gone for a sixth season, it would have been colorized. That would have been fantastic to see the crew, Lucas, Mark, Micah, and the townsfolk all in color. Michael Landon also appeared on the show in three episodes. Loved that show and Bonanza.

  14. Very difficult to predict a man like this self righteous judge with judgemental character and finally he too feel for her beauty in a most awkward manner.
