Very good telefilm, better than many other silverscreen films. Beau Bridges, underrated. Because he was not so handsome as his brother. It was the fault of none of them.
PD. And, in the story, Harry should have handled the feather to Ethne and then run away. How can you marry someone that should have supported you with her life, and how did she had the guts to come back with him only when he succeeded? A marriage bounded to misery, at least for him.
they are crazy for the war because they are slaughtering people who only have spears. that time is the peak of British imperialism. After world war one, British people understand war is not a joke and sacrifice of lives means nothing. Japanese people wake up from their imperialism dream three decades later than British people
Awesome
for someone so eager to get out of fighting, he jumped right back in just because of a few feathers..lol. Should have just dumped that woman for not respected his decision.
58:20. How do you say "rhubarb rhubarb" in Arabic?
Sniff sniff 🙂
Jane Seymour is incredibly beautiful IMHO.
Like Jesus parable about the 2 sons who were asked by their Father to go and do something. One son said he wouldn't go.. but then did, the second son said he would go.. but then didn't. It was the first son who pleased his Father. Harry was honourable. M
The train station is the Railway Museum in York.
It's Beau Bridges. I'm here for this. 🍿
Jane Seymour ❤
Life back in those days with parent fighting wars and hard fathers of frightening manners. Little feeling for the children.
Stiff upper lift not letting their feelings show.
Little love given nor encouragement.
Money family but all todo with keeping face.
Life was difficult and living in a foreign land.
Sad at the time but maybe still happens now.🇬🇧
As a serving Officer, Lt Faversham should have answered the call to the Colours as per the instructions in the telegram. No excuses!
Oh give the useless trollop her feather back
Jane Seymour was the 'it girl' of the 1970s. She was just exquisite.
The movie is very well done with great acting. But for me, it shows only how stupid humans are. His girlfriend rejected him, and his father rejected him because he didn't want to go to war and live in peace with his fiancé. Then he rejected his own believes and went to war and killed people. Of course, in the movie he was a hero, in reality there is a good chance he would have been killed, and his Fiancé and Father would have never seen him again. When will humans ever learn. This is only a movie, but I've seen pride get in the way of many Parent-child relationship, and we still have too many wars in the world. When will we ever learn.
NAO TEM LEGENDA EM PORTUGUES
A lousy version of a great movie
Great actors,great movie ❤
6:00

Happy ending 💖
I stop watching as the sefishness & fickleness of his is so called wife to be & the callousness of his father annoyed me too much to watch any further after he put the empty gun to his head.
Decent film & actors.
Spot General Fevershams portrait, holding a
Field Marshals baton. 😅😅
1:38:00 no shes not! All women are psychos! 😂😂😂
Pump and dump buddy ! Pump and dump!
poor colonial klutzes who died in a country not theirs for a cause not theirs
As a child I’m sure he was the actor who played the role of Damien in OMEN
Some wars are meant to be fought. Not any of the British colonial wars. Those people should have been allowed freedom. Without the bloodshed. Wars are fought for greed by wealthy people

Great movie. I watched it plenty of times.
Strange decision to cast Beau.
I never had time to watch old movies, I must say I missed out, Really enjoyable to watch. Thank you
This is a terrible remake of the 1939 original which is a great film. These actors & director should be embarrassed of this SHIT SHOW they made.💩💩💩💩💩💩
At 21:00 the door opens and the boom mic drops down into the top of frame.
I enjoyed the movie, but the story line was about a silly as Saving Private Ryan.
The original 1939 “Four Feathers” is so much better.
I did not know Satan was in this movie. I wonder if they saw the 3 sixes in Damien head? lol
Was she Henry the 8th, third wife.
……first saw actress Jane Seymour in UK drama, ‘The Onedin Line’ back in the very early 1970’s…………
Jane was gorgeous, even so much she looked different.
Madame Seymour was my first crush. Still love her. She has aged much better than me. 😍😍
At least we have come to realize there is no GLORY in war and killing.
Very good acting, I just hope no horses were injured. The white horse was stunning.
My Grandfather was 15 years old, doing the shopping for his Mother (my Great Grandmother), when a woman he didn't know, placed a white feather in his hand, and coldly walked away. Grandad put down the shopping baskets, right there on the street, and promptly went to the Army Enlistment Office. Lying he was 18 years of age, he was 'signed-up', and was missing for two years before he was discovered in Flanders, with the London Regiment.
Still underage, they moved him rearward, and posted him to the Royal Engineers. No action was taken to return him home, he was in the rear, and safer.
A year later, tanks were introduced to warfare, and who better to man them, but Engineers; he returned to the front!
Grandad survived the war, thankfully.
He never talked about it.
53 years later, I followed his gallant example…..but I let my family know.
I don't talk about it much, either.
Fucking bitch rejects him outright because he wants the best for the both of them. Western women in a nutshell. With all the privileges they can possibly have without any form or sense of humility, acknowledgement whatsoever.
Sat phone…I can make it home for Xmas. Stay in Iraq, you like it there.
