  1. They all looked too old for Borstal. Bogarde's faux Welsh accent irritated me. I wonder why they made him Welsh ?
    Warner, Hanley and Bogarde were to team up soon after this film, in ' The Blue Lamp '.

    Ms. Murray sure was a looker.

  2. What a brilliant moralistic tale without judgement, a blessed open mind and great talent to highlight the dangers of misplaced trust, action through fear or coersion or malice.
