A Christmas Carol is a 1984 British-American made-for-television film adaptation of Charles Dickens’ famous 1843 novella of the same name. The film is directed by Clive Donner who had been an editor of the 1951 film Scrooge and stars George C. Scott as Ebenezer Scrooge.

  2. George C. Scott is always putting his all in every movie I’ve seen him in. I wish actors and actresses of today would try to give their best instead we get their worst.

  3. It's been years since I've seen this movie. I think this is by far the best film version ever made of A Christmas Carol. George C. Scott was brilliant as Scrooge, an incomparable actor.

If you wish to hear about miserly.  I worked at Chase bank in Tampa some 15 years ago, and the president of the company who had his own jet plane had an idea to save the company some funds.  He decided that in the bathrooms that the hot water should be turned off in the cool weather, our winter, so that people would not stay in there too long.  How is that for miserly ???
