  1. hedda and lovborg are rebellions and I love their characters, they appeared to be true iconoclasts especially hedda who went against the norms

  2. 10 minutes in and it’s an amazing portrayal of narcissistic personality disorder; a spectrum of psychopathies that the so-called elite seem to have cornered the market in for millenniums, passing it off as ‘class and breeding’ – ?

  3. I love watching matured Ingrid in her 40s in films like Indiscreet, Anastasia , The Visit and this one. Sure, Ingrid was a knockout in Casablanca and Notorious, but I love her matured beauty. More refined but exqusite and lovely still..

  4. Sir Ralph is super creepy. “A triangular friendship “…. you can just imagine how he is behind closed doors. Every small detail of his acting fuels the creepiness of the character.

  5. watching this because it was mentioned in the final season of bojack horseman and when I found out Ingrid was in it i couldn’t stop myself, she did not disappoint (she never does)

  6. IBSEN,… I’m Norwegian & this was in our early education of the language. Too bad this is in English as Ingrid spoke perfect Norwegian 🙂

  7. Intermezzo ,Casablanca, for whom the .bell .gaslight ,spellbound ,notorious ,under Capricorn ,Anastasia ,inn of Sixth, autumn Sonata and Now Hedda

  8. Oh, my! What a delightfully handsome gesture of greeting the men make when they enter the room at 43:35. Now I see why Bennett Cerf entered the studio on "What's My Line" in the way that he did. So many European customs are splendid.

  9. I like Dame Enid Diana Elizabeth Rigg, DBE, playing the role of Hedda Gabler! She is more elegant and condescending than Bergman. Diana Rigg plays the role completely without remorse. Hedda is too '1-dimensional' in black and white. She comes to life completely in color with Rigg's indomitable persona. I too was surprised at Diana Rigg's delivery of this classic Film Noir.
