  1. A worthwhile movie to view.  A good plot and the primary actors – Lee Bowman, Jane Wyatt, and Louis Hayward – and the supporting cast – elevated the movie.  A very good print with audio and visual clarity.

  2. Excellent in every aspect. A story beginning with a crime and followed by its consequences, are among my favorites about suspense and study of psychology of the characters. Besides, the storyline is straight and simple to keep on and suspense is in every minute if the Director makes a good job. Take "Rope" by instance and in a certain way "Psycho" and you'll know what I mean. Louis Hayward's performance will remain in my mind. Thank you very much for this film.

  3. @24:01 Kathleen Freeman, famous' character actor(actress). She also "popped up' in Naked City ( 1948) as the talkative lady on the subway..who 'bothered Don Taylor( prob-ably no relation to "Louis).

Thank you for uploading this film!

  4. I'm sorry that I have discovered a perverted side to my personality. The crippled brother John's house-keeper, after all her nit, nit, nag, nag, and her sneering testimony at the inquest — I would personally have enjoyed strangling her. She really had a good skinning coming.

  5. OOOOH how I love Fritz Lang's directing! His lighting, camera, intensity. So glad he escaped from Nazi Germany and made his way to Hollywood.
