  1. Classic British '50's noir.

Dirk Bogarde was such a good looking man, it's little wonder that he became a heart throb, with women going weak at the knees upon catching a mere glimpse of him. Poor dears.

    Terrific download.

  2. Loved this movie with the creme de la creme of good British actors. Lita Rosa was very good singer who played with the Ted Heath band, yes the 50`s was a waste land for our fine British singers of the time

  3. Apparently the play on which this was based ('Murder Mistaken' by Janet Green, 1952) was originally going to be called 'Teddy Bare's Picnic'. Which probably goes to explain Bogarde's character's name.

    What a good film.

  4. Bloody good one (forgive me the Pun), had the Missus in stitches!
Ole Dirk boy plays a (convincingly) bad un yet again but this one's gonna gimme Nightmares…. RRRight, onto the next Flick.

  5. pretty good movie showing us time and time again that money corrupts one s soul………btw, the brits are known for their lack of sexual appetite, oral sex to them is when you talk about it……..I wonder if I was a woman or gay, would I have enjoyed the movie more…..hehehe

  6. I own it but can't find it so I watched it here. A truly GOOD movie, well worth watching. I love the old black and whites – but the mystery ones are the best. Well done.
